MINIATURE CONNECTORS

RST® MICRO
electrical connector

The RST® MICRO is optimized for the interface between voltage or current sources and LED modules. In addition, it is ideally suited for dimming or DMX applications. Due to its design data, even network applications do not pose a problem.

RST® MICRO - THE WORLD'S SMALLEST CIRCULAR CONNECTOR!

We present the RST® MICRO, a 2- to 5-pole miniature connector that meets the highest requirements for design, function and flexibility with its diameter of less than 15 / 20 mm. The small one is in demand wherever miniaturization is an issue and thus electrical connections and links have to become ever smaller.

Really small and inconspicuous, easy to operate without disturbing locking geometries, yet secured and sealed against pulling, the RST® MICRO is the solution here and unique on the market in its compactness and functionality.

The 2-pole to 5-pole connector with a diameter of less than 15 / 20 mm is currently the smallest member of the RST® product family: The connectors are mechanically coded, i.e. only the matching plug / socket pairs can be inserted with the correct polarity. Optionally, the connectors are also available with a barrier seal, which prevents the spread of moisture in the cable system.

RST® MICRO FOR ILLUMINATED ADVERTISING AND DISPLAYS

With the RST® MICRO you benefit from a miniature connector that provides a simple, clear and high-quality connection between ballasts and luminaires even in the smallest installation situations. Everything is installed in no time and protected against dirt and moisture!

RST® MICRO FOR ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES AND APPARATUS ENGINEERING

In case of expansions or when replacing faulty devices, the clear advantages of pluggable interfaces can be taken advantage of. The extremely compact RST® MICRO, consisting of connectors and M14/M16 device connections with corresponding sealing caps, is predestined for such tasks and offers unique performance in terms of IP protection.

RST® MICRO FOR TECHNICAL LUMINAIRES

The RST® MICRO is optimized for the interface between voltage and current sources and LED modules and is also ideally suited for dimming or DMX applications. Thanks to its insulation coordinates, the miniature connector can even be used for mains voltages.

RST® MICRO FOR DECORATIVE OUTDOOR + EVENT LIGHTING

Especially in the outdoor area, a professional electrical installation plays a decisive role.Difficult installation conditions often lead to faults, loss of the degree of protection and ultimately to failure of the lighting. With its compact unobtrusive design combined with the highest protection class, the RST® MICRO is the strong partner of outdoor lighting. The optional water stop increases failure safety.

RST® MICRO FOR LUMINAIRES WITH SEPARATE BALLAST

The RST® MICRO is perfect for technical luminaires in industrial environments with separate ballast. Since this is optimized for the interface between voltage and current sources and the LED modules, you can therefore also benefit from the pluggable electrical installation in this case.

The RST® MINI system is suitable for supplying the ballast via the mains . The components are designed for 16 A and can accommodate cross-sections of up to 2.5 mm².

RST® MICRO FOR SIGNAL TRANSMISSION

Not only when installing the lighting itself, but also when installing additional sensor technology, such as motion detectors, you benefit from a pluggable design. The different circuits can be clearly distinguished from each other by the different mechanical and optical coding. This makes installation and any subsequent intervention much easier.

The sensors can be integrated into the pluggable infrastructure in different ways. Directly via pluggable device connections or via a short connecting cable with a plug connector mounted at the end. In both cases, installation time is reduced to a minimum.

RST® MICRO FOR YACHTS + SHIPS

RST® is also used in shipbuilding. Due to the robust design, the system meets the requirements of the relevant approvals for shipbuilding. The MICRO system is ideal for outdoor lighting on yachts and ships. Since high-pressure cleaners are used for cleaning due to the high salt load, the electrification must meet appropriate standards. With their high IP protection (66 / 68 (3m;2h) / 69), the RST® systems provide the optimum prerequisites for this.

RST® MICRO FOR PARKING SPACE MONITORING

Entire parking garages or individual parking spaces are increasingly being equipped with sensors to monitor them. This makes it easy to provide info on whether a parking space is occupied or whether a parker is staying within the maximum parking time. These are either embedded in the ground in appropriate pipe systems or laid in existing cable routes. Due to their small size, the connectors fit everywhere, which means that the cable routing systems can be kept as small as possible.

The RST® installation system has already proven itself over many years in such applications due to its high robustness and the highest IP protection.

RST® MICRO FOR DATA CENTER AIR CONDITIONING

Very little space and adverse weather conditions, this is exactly where the RST® MICRO can show its advantages. On flat buildings of companies and factories you can often find air conditioning systems for computer and data centers. The top side is equipped with fans, so that only little space is left for the electrification of the fans. The four- or five-pole system with the very compact distributors is perfectly suited here for transferring power from the control cabinet to the individual fans. The aforementioned longitudinal waterproofing, which is also available, again shows its strength here and provides additional protection for ongoing operations, which is indispensable, especially for data centers.

If maintenance or failures do occur, the decentralized system limits the affected components to the minimum!
