Light + Building 2024: Wieland Electric showcases pioneering electrical installation solutions for buildings and retail.

"We electrify" - in keeping with this year's motto of the world's leading trade fair for lighting and building technology in Frankfurt, Wieland Electric will be presenting pioneering solutions for pluggable electrical installations in residential buildings, office buildings, educational institutions, hotels and retail at Light + Building from March 3 to 8, 2024. The trade fair presentation will focus on integrated systems from distribution to the consumer as well as a brand new software tool that enables maximum planning flexibility. How current and future challenges in building technology can be optimally mastered with customized solutions for infrastructure and I&C cabling is a central topic at the Wieland stand in Hall 12. Here, the Bamberg-based technology company also demonstrates its expertise in the field of serial, modular construction and shows how the Wieland PREFAB® systems contribute to shorter construction times without having to compromise on quality and efficiency. In addition, advanced electromobility solutions in the field of EV charging infrastructure will be presented. In particular, this includes the decentralized energy bus system podis®, which can be used to supply wallboxes in multistorey and underground parking lots with energy quickly and easily.

A highlight of Wieland Electric's trade fair appearance is the new Building Solutions Designer (BSD). The 3D planning tool for pluggable electrical installations supports electrical planners in the precise design and highly flexible planning of cable infrastructures, including installation routes. "With the BSD, we are revolutionizing the planning of pluggable electrical installations and are looking forward to showing visitors to Light + Building 2024 how the pioneering software tool works and its advantages at our stand B86 in hall 12," says Thomas Nieborg, Product Information Manager at Wieland Electric.
