Outdoor electrical installations - No more adventures
ROBUST AND SAFE PLUG & PLAY SOLUTIONS FOR OUTDOOR APPLICATIONS
Outside, the rules are different from the ones inside: On the terrace or construction site, at an open air concert, in architectural or street lighting - the electrical installation for outdoor applications must meet special and increased requirements for safety and flexibility. It must be able to withstand wind and weather and often also special mechanical stresses. At the Light + Building in Frankfurt, Wieland Electric will show how this is achieved with pluggable products and solutions especially for outdoor installations.
Temperature fluctuations, UV radiation, moisture and foreign bodies - the RST® connector system from Wieland Electric defies all these adversities because it was expressly designed for outdoor use. It is robust, safe and flexible. The RST® connectors and device connections are at the heart of the modular system, supplemented by distribution elements, pre-assembled cables and accessories. All components and cables function according to the plug & play principle. This keeps the costs for initial installation low. Even lights are pre-assembled and simply plugged in with the right connection. They do not have to be opened for installation, which also prevents moisture and dirt from penetrating even before commissioning. Colour and mechanical coding makes plugging safe and error-free - a real advantage in difficult installation conditions or under high time pressure, where errors occur quickly and often lead to system and lighting failure. All members of the RST® product family are available with a protection class of up to IP69.
In the garden, at events or in parking garages - Versatile application possibilities
With RST® , street luminaires can be supplied just as efficiently and easily as dimmable LEDs for decorative lighting in gardens or parks. The quick-to-install system is used in event technology as well as in damp areas such as industrial halls, greenhouses or parking garages.
Even outside: Electricity supply of charging stations for electric cars
Another Wieland product is used for the electrical supply of charging stations for electric vehicles: The decentralised energy distribution system podis enables the connection of a large number of charging stations with only one supply line, which saves time during installation, requires less cable material and considerably reduces the size of the distribution cabinet.
Wieland at Light + Building
Wieland Electric will present the safe and robust RST® system as well as the podis energy bus system at the Light + Building from 27 September to 02 October(Hall 12, Booth B60, Hall 8, Booth C50) in Frankfurt.
